Creating Safe, Confident and Vibrant Night-Time Economies in Wales – Best Practice Seminar and Networking Event

As part of its commitment to support the Home Office Local Alcohol Action Areas, the Local Alcohol Partnerships Group is holding a Best Practice Seminar and Networking Event in Cardiff on Thursday 30th November 2017. The event is also supported by the Welsh Government and the Office for the South Wales Police and Crime Commissioner.  Keynote speakers include the Welsh Health Minister, Rebecca Evans, and PCC Alun Michael.  The aim of the event is to showcase and promote best practice in Wales, including Best Bar None and other local partnership schemes such as Pubwatch, Drinkaware Crew, Purple Flag, Community Alcohol Partnerships, Proof of Age Standards Scheme and Street Pastors.  There will also be sessions on data sharing and addressing vulnerability in the night-time economy.  The event will be open to all Welsh partners.  Further information is available from Rita King, Local Partnerships Director, Portman Group, at
